Click here to learn more about our Puppy Nursery School option.
We offer coverage for workdays, date nights, an hour here or there and everything in between. All daycare dogs will undergo a personality profile ($25 cost) to ensure they are a good fit for Wag and vice versa. All daycare humans will need to submit a complete application packet for their dogs to join (including vaccination records, general information, emergency contact, etc.)*.
Daily Schedule
7 am – 12 pm: Morning Activities. Supervised playtime within our indoor and outdoor spaces, reflecting your dog’s play preferences groupings are big, small, and everything in between! Our unique play areas offer lots of stimulation; are off-leash, and directed by our trained Wag Watchers. Check out our Event Calendar online for our activity of the day, be it Musical Monday, Crafty Canines, or a pancake leaping contest, you can be sure that our Waggers will be happily entertained.
12 pm – 2 pm: Rest time for dogs to recharge their batteries and give themselves a break. Stuffed kongs, swims, woofles, ice cream, bully sticks, no hides, antlers, and lunch can all be enjoyed during this time.
2 pm – Pick Up: Scheduled daily activities for your pup. Check our weekly schedule on your dog’s report card, our email blasts, and our Facebook page for all the fun and enriching activities Wag has to offer!
*All daycare and boarding dogs are required to wear a breakaway collar (One time cost of $20, includes dog and owner identification. Easily clasped and removed.) We will keep the collar at Wag Central, for use during daycare and boarding.
Personality Profile: *As a first introduction to Wag, all daycare and boarding dogs are required to meet with our trainer or daycare staff member to have a personality profile. This informal meeting is a fun way for us to get to know your dog. We’ll go through the usual information with you and you can brag about all the great things your dog can do, their likes or dislikes, how they like to have fun, and what makes their tail wag! This assessment takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and leaves all parties feeling good about what’s next to come, whether it be boarding, daycare, or playdates. Owner information, emergency contacts, required forms, and credit card to be kept on file will be collected at this time.
First Day Wagger:
After passing the personality profile, each profiled pup will spend a half or full day at Wag within 2 weeks of the profile. On this first and special day, our staff will take the time to integrate the pup in groups and take extra care with them to diffuse anxiety or overexertion, taking notes to see their interactions in the groups, and noting their behavior in our kennel. A special report card will be sent home with your pup on the first day, as well as a report card. A one time $20 fee of a breakaway collar will also be charged the first day. First Day Wagger charges are separate from daycare packages. A daycare package cannot be used the first day.

Training
Here at Wag, we know that a well trained pup is a happy pup!
Welcome to Wag University, where our balanced approach to dog training helps both our two-legged and four-legged clients learn to speak dog, strategize on how to embark on life together, play together, trick out, exercise and collaborate about all things dog. Wag Central’s training style is unique in that our classes are small, our trainers are mighty, and we take into account the size and breed of your dog to make each class an enjoyable and educational experience. Our teaching philosophy is to set pups and their people up to succeed and do so in a positive, rewarding manner.
We strive to make puppy training a fun and positive experience. Play mixed with instruction creates an environment for puppies to learn both socially and intellectually. At the same time, we are there to help puppy parents learn how to better understand their new pup and to create a relationship with their canine companions built on trust and open communication. We aim for setting your puppy up for success so they can become a relaxed, confident and well-behaved member of your family and society.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, these schedules are subject to change. Be sure to call and check with us due to the uncertainty of the situation.

Therapeutic Boarding
Golden Boarders
Here at Wag Central we believe there’s not much as beautiful, distinguished and dignified as a senior dog. We want to honor canines in their golden years by providing them with extra services and care when they come for a stay.
What makes a dog a senior?
It really is true that age is just a number. If you think your dog, regardless of his or her age, would be happier in the general boarding population, then that is what we’ll do! That being said, dogs over 8 years old are eligible for our Golden Boarder Program. And if you’re not sure which option to pick, we’re more than happy to help you determine where your pooch will best fit in!
Therapeutic Boarders
We understand that boarding your beloved pooch can be stressful on you both, especially if they have medical needs or other needs that may make them a little more high maintenance than the average canine. We have a specially designed boarding program that is individually catered to each dog’s condition, to give them the extra care they require and to give you the peace of mind that all of their needs are being taken care of!
What makes a dog a Therapeutic Boarder?
We recommend boarding your dog as a Therapeutic Boarder if they have a major medical condition, are a young puppy, or require extra care beyond what we offer in our standard boarding.
We REQUIRE any epileptic or diabetic dog, any dog over 13 years or older, as well as any puppy under 16 weeks of age, to board as a Therapeutic Boarder.
We also require a telephone or in-person meeting with one of our Wag managers prior to the boarding stay. This 15 minute time slot will be spent going over medicine administration, special feeding instructions or anything else we need to know in order to keep your dog’s routine the same while at Wag Central.
Note: all major medical issues are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you have a pet with medical needs, please contact us to determine if they are a good fit for our Therapeutic Boarding program. We do NOT accept dogs that are recovering from surgeries or have drains.
What services do Golden Boarders receive?
- Stay in the Specialized Care boarding room with Orthopedic bedding for extra comfy snoozes
- Socialization time
- Automatic enrollment in our Sweet Relief Program at no extra cost, which includes: Going outside an extra two times during the day to stretch their legs and take care of business
- Extra monitoring for overall health by our trained staff
- Medications administered at no extra cost

Puppy Nursery School
The first year of a puppy’s life is considered by dog experts to be the most crucial period for creating a well socialized, confident dog. During this timeframe, it is critical to expose puppies to a wide variety of sights, sounds, smells, and sensations. Puppies who miss out on these experiences often never learn how to be comfortable in unfamiliar settings or situations, and are much more likely to develop anxiety, become fearful and/or aggressive later in life. These little ones are growing at an amazing rate, but continue to need correction and reinforcement of the basics to become the best pack and family member they can be.
Our curriculum is designed for pups up to 18 months old, however, we can tailor it to best suit any age.
Requirements:
This looks like a lot, we know. Don’t be intimidated, we’re here to help! We care about the health and welfare of your pup and all of the pups who come to Wag Central, so we’re at the ready to assist in any way we can to make the process of enrolling as easy as pie. Just give us a ring, and we’ll get through it together.
- Let’s meet! Come in for a personality profile so we can meet your pup, talk about the breed, and explain our personalized plan
- Proof of vaccination must be received on or before your puppy’s first day. Puppies will not be allowed to participate in Nursery School without proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian
- The following vaccinations are required for puppies aged 8-11 weeks: One round of DHPP, Bordetella
- The following vaccinations are required for puppies aged 12-16 weeks: Rabies Vaccine, Two rounds of DHPP, Bordetella
- Proof of vaccinations must be submitted before their first day. Puppies may not attend Nursery School without proof of vaccinations
- Leptospirosis and Influenza Bivalent vaccination requirements are waived for puppies under four months of age
- ALL puppies, regardless of age, must have a negative fecal (ova, parasites, and Giardia)
Includes
- Socialization with other dogs, people, and situations
- Small supervised group playtime with pup peers of all ages to encourage the learning of good dog interactions and behavior
